The beloved actress from her self-titled Mary Tyler Moore show as well as the Dick Van Dyke Show passed away earlier today from complications of pneumonia.

Rest in peace, Mrs. Petrie.

And so, 2017 begins. Let's hope it doesn't suck like last year did.

also "buddy holly" is now stuck in my head
 
to think she lived so long

and yet all but one (the one being Ted Knight) of her show's co-stars outlived her
