Mupen64 freezing?

So today I was playing around with a different emulator for reasons, and for the first attempt, I opened my ROM fine, then Alt+Enter'd and turned my volume off, but then I accidentally closed the emulator and when I opened it again, it froze. It played for about 1-2 seconds then paused and became unresponsive. The text is blurry, the (Not Responding) message shows up, and the cursor just spins. Can anyone offer any help?

E: And I promise I Googled it and came up empty again.

Reinstall it?

I think I had the same problem when I first installed it, but then I reinstalled it and ended up here, but I guess it's worth a try.
