Wazzup? I'm Joseph from the Mario Wiki.
Starting on, like, Monday, April 11, something's been going on with my Wii U. I have trouble when I am using the touch screen. The buttons work fine, but only for the games. It doesn't let me use the D-Pad to type or control without using the touch screen. However, for 5 or 3 minutes after starting my Wii U, it's like nothing happened. If this has been happening to you too, let me know. If you have a question, let me know. If you know what wrong or what to do about this...let me know. :yoshi:
 
I think it's your buttons acting up
 
I mean your controller probably sucks.

Does this bad input happen with any other controller? Like the Wii Remotes?
 
(Sorry late reply) It actually does. It took a while to decide, though. What should I do?
 
Then it's your Wii U that has trouble reading inputs. Are you sure there aren't any other signals that might interfere with the wireless communication?
 
My Wii U is NOT FIXED! The touch screen is still not responding. Neither are the buttons. There is a scratch on the top of the touch screen. Any ideas on how to fix it manually, or should I take it to Best Buy to fix it? Maybe I should get a new one...? :-[
 
It's probably best if you get a new one
