Submitting images on IMDb

There is a character page that lacks a picture of the character. But it will only let me add stuff already in that movie's gallery, which consists of the box art and that's it. This character isn't on the box art, but I really think there should be a picture of the character on his page. Is there any way to upload any of my high-quality screenshots of the character to his page?

They said they won't take pictures from fans, even though they're perfectly capable of screening submissions to make sure only quality stuff gets uploaded. So is there a way to get permission from the owner of the film to submit pictures of its characters?
