An interesting question.

Personally? I'm a winter person. I can't stand the heat. Or the beach. Or the humidity.

My idea of a good time is skiing and taking a nice walk outside as snow falls. I don't know why. I should enjoy summer, living in the Southeast.

nights at winter are pretty cool

also i dont feel like i need to get a moderate tan during winter

it's just an excuse to stay inside and do nothing more

During Summer, I prefer Winter, during Winter, I prefer Summer.
But the Summer we have right now, is like Winter with a few days of Summer, so then I still prefer Summer.

Winter. I hate the heat during Summer, I'd rather be freezing than getting hot. I can't stand the heat because it makes me tired, sweaty and my temper goes to shit (I get angry at literally everything that happens).

When it's cold I shiver then continue what I'm doing. Also Rain happens more often in Winter so all the more reason to prefer it.

im really surprised that so many people didn't vote for summer.

i didn't vote for summer, too

:P I just really enjoy playing in the snow rather than dealing with possible heat strokes or getting sunburned/tanned.
 
Winter. Reasons?

Where I live it isn't as obnoxious/annoying(in Winter). Much more quiet.
I embrace every little second of the cold. ESPECIALLY when it snows.
I love the feeling of walking in the cold night with a white sheet covering the ground.
I simply love being alive more in Winter.

I have PLENTY more reasons but I'll leave it at that.
 
For me, prefering winter pretty much crystallizes down to one defining core reason:

It is much easier to get warm when you are cold, than to get cold when you are warm.

Why not both?

I love winter, especially around Christmas time.

On the other hand, Summer is fun because of going to the beach, plus I don't have to go to school.
 
I don't like summer because of the bugs and ticks and stuff, but I don't like winter because of the coldness.

But they're both better than Spring, so whatever.
 
It's not on the list, but I prefer Autumn.

In any case, winter is horrible over here, so I'd have to go with summer
