Google Play Music not working??

I always use Google Play Music on my Android phone because I know how to make songs repeat on it. Earlier, I was listening to music and the song just randomly cut off. I looked at my phone and it wouldn't turn on, so I just assumed it was dead. Later though it came on again, but when I tried to play my song, it said "Couldn't play the track you requested." It does that for every song I have. I just updated it, and it still says that, even after I rebooted my phone. Help is appreciated, because I like my music.
EDIT: I got it to work, but it still only works when it is not charging. Music suddenly cuts off when I plug it in and gives me an error message.
