I know it isn't perfect (I just don't see Toad or the Baby Mario Bros. working, I'd love to be proven wrong though) but I tried to include as many characters as I could without going overboard (hence some of the alternate costumes). And I will admit to not knowing hardly anything about Pokemon so that's what the free space is for. And I really couldn't think of a better Mario series boss.

I don't know either. I personally don't want either him or the Babies at all. I guess I wouldn't hate it that much if they made it in, but imo there are better choices out there.
 
kumatora needs to belong on the mother set.

Maybe one of mother 1 characters too.

He's from Metal Gear, he was even an assist trophy in Brawl

I think since Snake Eater was on the 3DS, they could always add one of the Cobra Units, or a character from that game.

I still don't think it's likely they will add two to a third party series considering they wanted to limit the amount of third parties anyway.

May I ask why? Why should Wario alone get special treatment in that department? I'd much rather have disc space be taken up by alternate outfits than say, stickers or minute long demos that you only mess with once and never touch them again.

Because he's Wario. Wario's the greatest thing ever since sliced bread.

Joking aside, I don't mind alt costumes, but I don't think Dixie and Proto Man would work for Diddy and Mega respectively. It's certainly possible to give them movesets, but I don't see those 2 working as alts.
