One conference championship tonight:

Patriot: Lafayette (19-14, 10-4) vs. Bucknell (27-5, 12-2)

Next ones won't be until Saturday.

Updated with the results from yesterday. We have 4 conference championships today (ACC, Atlantic 10, Big Ten, and SEC) before the big Selection Sunday show tonight!

Yay Gonzaga's a #1 seed, although I definitely didn't expect a small(ish?) conference team to get a #1.

Another reason I like March Madness so much is the upsets. I remember last year when 2 #15's beat #2's. (Lehigh 75-70 over Duke and Norfolk State 76-74 over Missouri).

Now we need to make our upset picks :D.

I guess I'll be rooting for Cal, but I don't expect them to go very far. Other than that I'll be supporting [acronym=Anybody But Duke]ABD[/acronym].

So, late, but here is our bracket!

First two play-in games are tonight on TruTV at 6:40PM EST and 9:10PM EST respectively:

#16 N.C. A&T (19-16) vs. #16 Liberty (15-20)
#11 Middle Tennessee (28-5) vs. #11 St. Mary's (27-6)

Both teams belong to the Midwest region. Winner of NCAT/LIB will play #1 Louisville, and winner of MTSU/STM will play #6 Memphis.

So who are you guys pulling for? My bracket will be finished hopefully later today so I'll be sure to post that :]

I picked Miami to defeat Louisville in the championship.

Call me crazy but I'm figuring my final four will be Saint Louis, Wisconsin, VCU, and NC State. Could be a shocker.

Meh. Doesn't sound as crazy as the 2011 Final Four.

Anyways, I'm watching NC A&T vs. Liberty right now. There's 6:49 left in the first half, and it's close, but NC A&T has started to pull ahead, still an exciting game though :D.

Edit: As of 5:38 1st Half, it's 32-25 NCAT.

Edit2: Oh Boy, end of the 1st Half. 40-33 NCAT.

Edit3: It's official! North Carolina A&T advances to play Louisville by a score of 73-72!

Dang. This LIU vs. JMU game is heated. First it seemed JMU would walk away with this easy, but LIU made a comeback late in the first half, and for what it's worth, here's the current score, (at halftime)

James Madison: 32
Long Island: 31

EDIT: It's official! James Madison has defeated LIU 68-55!

And La Salle defeats Boise St. 80-71.

Michigan State has defeated Valparaiso 65-54.

This Butler/Bucknell game has been really exciting, but dammit my pick is going to lose.

That's okay though I guess, I like Butler, so don't mind them winning.
