Video Games / Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated
« on: June 05, 2019, 10:17:27 AM »

It's not too often that games based on other stuff comes back to life, when they do, you got  to know it's really good and I can assure you, this is fantastic!

Not much is known but it appears to be more than a port because it has a new multiplayer mode, can't wait to see this in action, after all, they are going to replace the texture that is literally  a piece of poop, right?

Tell me about yourself, what do you think is your defining trait?

I say mine is my clumsyness, I tend to mess up a lot, I really don't mean for any of this to happen, I have bad eyesight and hearing and thus I don't quite know where I am going.

On a more positive note, I do like cheering people up, if someone is sad, I do my best to help out, sometimes, I realize that there isn't much I can do and I try to get other people who can do the job better, better off to steer things right with outside help than to give into your pride, I say

You sleep and Pokemon are there I guess? Only solid details is that it works with the Pokemon Go Plus+(Real creative name)

Uh, I have no idea what to make of it but I need to start sleeping better anyways

The Marioverse / Mario Kart Tour gacha disscusion
« on: May 23, 2019, 05:29:40 AM »
To prevent it from being the only thing talked about in the main topic, as well to cover any new things added to it, I made this topic.

Let me my problems out of the way, even if the game does have a lot of great characters and parts, if the game doesn't do well, as well as the reality that the thing can't go on forever, I feel like it will meet the same fate of Sonic Runners, here's a video that goes over that:

What really bothers me is the duplicates system, I must admit, I am not too knowledgeable about how gacha randomizers work, but any advantage from getting them you can get for free just by playing the game, even if the game turns out to be super generous, you will get a lot of thing you already have, it reminds me of Dragalia Lost, the game loves giving players free stuff, but after summoning so many adventures, you get duplicates and what  is basically a pitty present, it's not fun.

But regardless, this might be the first Mario Kart game where I am happy for varients, if I can get Wario in his biker suit, you know I am going to main him, heck yeah

Entertainment & Media / Ko Takeuchi's Robotan project
« on: May 23, 2019, 12:41:56 AM »
If you don't know Ko Takeuchi is the artist for Warioware and Rhythm Heaven, he's also a super nice guy who loves to draw!

Now, he's taking on his own project, Robotan is a character he created, he is getting some major voice actors in Japan involved and making a mini movie, you can check out the progress here on this Twitter account.

Forum Games / I'll survive and win because...
« on: May 19, 2019, 01:31:37 AM »
The above user is a bad guy, you are a good guy, the bad guy has a plan that ends in death and defeat, counter with a way you survive and beat them, no matter how silly, this topic was brought to you by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

I'll start things off, of course.

I throw you into lava

Handheld Gaming / Pokemon Rumble Rush
« on: May 18, 2019, 04:36:24 PM »

The latest installment of the fun but repetitive Pokemon Rumble series, unlike the rest it's a mobile game and unlike other mobile Pokemon mobile games, Nintendo appears to be involved as the games uses Miis and the MyNintendo rewards thing.

It has launched in Australia and Japan, with other regions should be getting it sometime this month

Love it or hate it, the Super Mario Bros movie is an interesting part of Mario history, in fact, the movie's infamy prevented us from getting any more live action Nintendo media, imagine that.

A tape with cut content has been found, it should be interesting, if anything just to see Bob Hoskins one last time...

Microsoft: June 9th, 1PM PST
Betheseda: June 9th, 5:30 PM PST

Entertainment & Media / DIC almost made a Metroid cartoon...
« on: May 08, 2019, 01:01:05 AM »

And in it Samus would be a man, yeah, DIC isn't exactly known for getting the research right, it would tick me off if this thing actually aired, but all that is left is this promo art.

I wonder if this would air on the Super Show like Zelda? Or perhaps, like Zelda, the cartoon could inspire a CDI game, I must admit, this thing looks like a Youtube Poop wonderland

Off-subject Discussion / Promote your friends' stuff
« on: May 06, 2019, 11:47:49 PM »
Let's be friends to our friends and give them shoutouts from beyond, maybe you'll find something you'll like, regardless, doing this will make you feel good, ya know?

Here is some artists I follow on Twitter
Sometimes, they seem to be feeling down, so I think they will love having new fans straight from the heart

Video Games / Bad games with good ideas
« on: May 06, 2019, 11:07:56 PM »
Sometimes, a game is just plain out not good, however, if we were to take something from them for a better game, what would you pick? Personally, I would take the Heroic Brutallties from Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe as an alternate style for characters that are too heroic to kill in the main Mortal Kombat games

So, Mario Maker became a pretty big thing, Mario Vs DK and Wrecking Crew have level editors, Warioware DIY exists, how far can we take it?

To me, the most curious one I am about is the 3D games in the Mario series, I'd imagine that it be the hardest to make work, it's very complicated stuff, I'd feel it would have to be scaled down even compared to the 2D Mario Maker to make it work

In contrast, the original DK style in the arcade and Gameboy games and the first Mario Vs. Donkey Kong would be the easiest to make it work, from what I heard, a level editor was planned for Mario Vs. DK 1 anyways, I feel like it can be really fun, more of a puzzle game than a straight up platformer

The Marioverse / Holidays in the Mario universe
« on: April 22, 2019, 12:34:22 AM »
It been pretty much confirmed that the Mario universe has pretty much every real holiday, but what if it has some of it's own? Let's speculate about this, it could be fun.

I think one holiday is block stuffing day, where you put a hidden item in a block and hope it helps someone out, plus it could give a break to those who stuff those blocks usually.
