Twice. Once on my own and once along with three of my siblings. Both times within the last year or so. I used to play it all the time as a kid but never beat it back then.
Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels, although I would never in a million years have been able to do it without some... generous use of the savepoint function. Even so it was challenging, but a lot of fun and very satisfying to finish. I didn't use any warp pipe so I got the ninth world too, which I...
The original Super Mario Bros. (Virtual Console on 3DS). I played this game SO much during my childhood but it's still great. Since one can make savepoints on the virtual console I didn't play it one sitting, but still more condensed over a shorter span of time than I usually play games, which...
I liked Mario and Luigi and found them charming, and Luigi rather peculiar-looking with his white clothes and green hair and moustache plus the fact that he looked the same as fire Mario when he took the fire flower.
Loathed Lakitu. Also it took me some time before I understood what his sprite...
Kid Icarus: Uprising. I started that savefile after I got the game as a Christmas present in 2014, so it was about time I actually finished it. Great fun, love the characters and the humour. I struggled with the first stages of the final boss but the later stages traded the difficulty for sheer...
Faves: Kamek, because I think his lines are funny and he's got lots of personality. Mario and Luigi because they are darlings and awesome.
Then there are many other characters I also like such as Peach, Toad, Rosalina etc.
Least faves: Lakitu, I just can't stand him. The hammer bros are also...
I'm grateful that even with ups and downs, the Mario franchise has overall kept its integrity and spirit.
I'm grateful for what the games have done for videogame design and the videogame industry in general, and that it was what kickstarted my own interest in videogames with Super Mario Bros...
I bought Super Mario Bros. on 3DS and decided to try and get to the minus world before starting a normal playthrough. Not that the level itself is very exciting, but still fun to have done like a bucketlist thing.
Rabbit chasing in Super Mario Galaxy (And SM64 DS). I loathe rabbit chasing with my entire being, especially since I'm not too good at navigating in 3D Mario games in the first place.
Not me, but when me and my little sister played Super Mario 3D Land a few years ago she got really scared of the cosmic clone which appears in some levels, to the point where she wouldn't even let me mention the character.
As for myself I find glitches has some creepiness-potential, like the...
What I like about the Mario games in general is how focused they are on the fun of playing games, having a good time and putting a smile on your face. I love its creativity and it feels like the creators had fun making the games. I've never played New Super Mario Bros. U myself, just seen a...
New Super Mario Bros. 2. This was the first time I played the entire thing beginning to end on my own. It's nice. One detail I had forgotten about that I love is the end credits where one can control Mario carrying Peach. It's nice to have something to do while the credits roll and I really like...
I think my Super Mario Galaxy is haunted. Me and my little sister were playing when I visited and at one point when she had the control Mario slid down two hills and into a black hole. I jokingly said "was it really necessary to slide him down there?" and she replied she hadn't even moved it. I...
I had completely missed that Super Mario Land 2 and Donkey Kong '94 are available on the 3DS eshop... I'm so happyyy :'D Also the original Super Mario Bros., I have Super Mario Deluxe downloaded from there already, but the camera in that bugged me plus I've missed the look and feel of the...
I thought I had played New Super Mario Bros. to last me a lifetime and then some, but now I almost wish I still had it because I'm curious about how it has held up with some distance from it. Before I'd grown tired of it, it felt so innovative and fresh, I remember being amazed by the rope...
Agree and that is exactly why I love it so much - my biggest impression of it is that it's pretty much distilled gameplaying fun and does exactly what Super Mario platformers do best - putting a smile on my face. :)

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. I find just about everything about it amazing: the story, and the pacing of the story in particular, the artstyle, the butter smooth animations, the UI, the soundtrack and how the music is used throughout, the charcaters... Also, in terms of being a...
Oh god, I played those all the time 12 years or so ago. I even made it a point to try each and everyone of them I could come across. The quality of them... varied. Greatly.
I'm fond of Lost Level's. It took the one from the first game but made it feel less repetitive and more like a full on song. World's is amazing too and makes me wanna dance.
(I also have to mention Wario Land 3's ending theme for being surprisingly... beautiful)
Super Mario Bros. Lost Levels, on Virtual Console so I'm savescumming the heck out of it. I'm also replaying the DLC episode of Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice.

Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. The Sims and The Sims 2. Those were the games of my childhood (and, as far as Super Mario and The Sims 2 goes, my adulthood as well). Edutainment games JumpStart Second and Third grade: Mystery Mountain (I actually got to play the latter just a few weeks ago and...
New Super Mario Bros. Wii, mostly because there is a Wii and a Super Mario-loving kid at my mum's house, so there's no real reason to not have played it. Although I suppose I could always try to find it cheap somewhere and leave it at their house. My heart is aching to play Odyssey but I don't...
Super Mario Bros. on the NES, when I was six years old. We briefly had Super Mario Bros. 3 at home around that time too when we borrowed it from someone, but I found it too hard and pretty much the only memory I have of it from back then was me just leaving the room while the map blinked on the...
