I'm back. You didn't miss me, huh?
So I heard that they were making the popular tablet/phone game into a movie... how will it work?

how would any adaptation work

they make movies off of children's books and Legos and all sorts of things

some are good some are bad

i don't like angry birds in general, i find them pretty annoying, but ill give the movie a chance
 
Well the birds don't talk or anything so it wouldn't be very exciting.

I found out that they will talk. Apparently Olaf's voice actor, Josh Gad, will play Chuck (the yellow bird) which means I shall have to re-invent my headcanon for his voice.
 
make sense, given rovio's marketing strategy of turning anything and everything angry bird-themed.

and it still has a more coherent plot than the freaking tetris movie.

i still think Hollywood needs to show a little more restraint when it comes to adapting things into movies (again, frigging tetris wtf), but angry birds at least has notability on its side and a basic plot and conflict, and if nothing else the action should be promising.
