i've watched a couple of episodes of the original dub, but i was planning on going to watch it

I dropped crystal, like it just didn't have the same feel as the original and I tried to stick with it but after 8 episodes I just couldn't be asked to keep watching, plus the fact it was on fortnightly meant I forgot to watch it a lot.

well thats ok but dont watch crystal, they sum up 46 episodes into 13 and they take out a buncha good filler stuff, which prety much made sailor moon
its supposed to be closer to the manga (which admittedly it is) but the way its presented is just so bad, like the top review on mal gave it 3/10

yeah like for real, as big of a sailor moon fan i am, it was really trash and it just felt they cut out the charm the og had. ill probably read the manga instead, someday
 
I thought Crystal was supposed to have 26 episodes...
But I never made it past episode 4 of Crystal, mainly because of laze, and I'll probably never finish it.

crystal is 26 episodes, but the first half (14 episodes) is season 1 of sailor moon, and the second half (another 12 episodes) is season 2 (where chibiusa comes in)
thats about 76 episodes summed up from the original, not including the alien filler arc
