The books were amazing. They made it seem so emotionless, but when a character nearly/does die, you have dreams about it. That is what happened at the end of Book 3. I seriously cried when I read it.
Really.
Because the reviews (both personal and professional) of the third book all said it was awful. Everyone told me it was so bad that I haven't even read it.
It was a good book, but I hated it because...well I won't spoil it just in case
Because Prim dies and Katniss goes insane and she goes with Peeta instead of Gale, yeah, yeah, I got that from a friend. Sounds dumb.

When that person died, I was so depressed for awhile.
Personally, I think the second book was the least favorable. Mostly because it felt like a repeat of the first book. The first and third at least had different plots, and the second was literally like re-reading the first.
It was still a good book, but I was sort of disappointed by that.
